Comprehensive daily reflection about the nation, citizenship, and youth

 It is our national responsibility to learn what our administration is doing. For some unfortunate people in our country, much reading matter is a overly common summary of what trouble they have personally felt in the hands of biased, bullying, and corrupt government officials at all levels of government. Knowledge is strength. With act in the voting booth, we will start to make the change. Talk out. React. We all be a real democracy — nothing less. 

During and since this vote, I have been overwhelmed by the knowledge that we are the country divided. Man/Woman, White/Minority, Blue/Red… that polarization is obvious. As a result, the growing gap threatens to keep the unity, forcing us into the `` us vs Them '' attitude that can just support the divide. Now while that may seem real new-age-peace-and-love-and-patchouli, make no mistake — my desire for connection is not entirely altruistic, and may still be a streak of pessimism. Holding our nation divided strengthens the new government and maintains the status quo. By encouraging the `` Us vs.
